Minkler Lake Conservation Area is home to many species of waterfowl, songbirds and an important water feature supporting salmon and steelhead. This is a great site to see many stages of restoration all in one day. Check out the growth of the new trees planted January 2017! We will be continuing to work on a patch of English ivy and Himalayan blackberry. This work requires kneeling, pulling, bending and potentially navigating steep slopes. There are a variety of tasks available and we can meet your interests and comfort level.
