Family Barnacle Buddies

Ignite a love of nature and scientific discovery in preschoolers through joyful, play-based exploration of the Salish Sea and its surrounding ecosystems. Designed for young learners and their caregivers, this program invites families to investigate tide pools, forests, and shorelines together—turning curiosity into connection and early environmental stewardship. ?Each month, children will meet a Creature of the Salish Sea. Through stories, hands-on activities, movement, and outdoor exploration, preschoolers will observe, ask questions, and discover how living things interact with their environment.
